Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Real-World Evidence (RWE) Statistician to join our dynamic team. The RWE Statistician will play a crucial role in designing, analyzing, and interpreting real-world data (RWD) to generate actionable insights that drive healthcare decisions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in biostatistics, epidemiology, and RWE methodologies, along with experience in managing and analyzing large healthcare datasets.

Key Responsibilities:

Study Design and Methodology:

Design and develop robust statistical analysis plans for RWE studies, including observational studies, registries, and pragmatic clinical trials.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define research objectives and develop appropriate study designs and methodologies.
Ensure the use of appropriate statistical techniques and methodologies to address research questions and meet study objectives.
Data Management and Analysis:

Manage and analyze large, complex real-world datasets from various sources, including electronic health records (EHR), claims databases, and patient registries.
Perform data cleaning, validation, and quality control to ensure data integrity and reliability.
Conduct advanced statistical analyses, including multivariate regression, survival analysis, propensity score matching, and machine learning techniques.
Results Interpretation and Reporting:

Interpret and communicate statistical findings to internal and external stakeholders, including clinical teams, regulatory authorities, and healthcare providers.
Prepare detailed reports, manuscripts, and presentations for scientific publications and conferences.
Ensure the accurate and transparent reporting of study results in accordance with regulatory guidelines and industry standards.
Collaboration and Consultation:

Provide statistical expertise and consultation to project teams, researchers, and clients.
Collaborate with epidemiologists, health economists, and other scientists to integrate statistical analyses into broader research initiatives.
Participate in the development of research proposals and grant applications.
Qualifications:

Education:

PhD or Master’s degree in Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Statistics, or a related field.

Experience:

Minimum of 10 years of experience in biostatistics or a related role within the healthcare industry, with a focus on RWE.
Proven experience in managing and analyzing large real-world datasets.
Strong track record of scientific publications and presentations in peer-reviewed journals and conferences.
Technical Skills:

Proficiency in statistical programming languages (e.g., SAS, R, Python).
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
Knowledge of healthcare data sources, including EHRs, claims databases, and patient registries.
