Epistat was formed in 2007 and as a limited company in December 2021 specialized in real-world evidence and medical statistics. Erik has a master's degree in technical physics from Umeå University and a PhD in epidemiology from Uppsala University. Furthermore, Erik has more than 20 years of experience from academic research and consulting in biostatistics, clinical research and real world evidence.

Lars has a PhD in biostatistics and epidemiology from Uppsala University and he is Adjunct Professor at Dalarna University. Lars has 35 years of experience from research in biostatistics and epidemiology in academia and industry within the fields of cardiovascular, type 2 diabetes, dementia and IVF research. He has published 160 articles in peer-reviewed journals.
